The most imposing task that anyone goes threw while they are playing Dofus is leveling.
There are a three different ways to actually go about this process.
 
The Easiest of three ways would be to buy experience scrolls.  There are three different types of exp. scrolls that you can obtain.
 
1. White parchment, these scrolls give 1-100 exp, these are dropped by any monster in the entire game.
2. Ivory parchment, these scrolls give 1-1000 exp, these scrolls are only dropped by a select few monsters, but to the contrary they can be made from a NPC named Frankie at (4,12) for 10 Moskito Wings. (Note you must be pay to play to exchange the wings for scrolls)
3. Golden parchment. these scrolls give 1-10000 exp, these are only dropped by a select few monsters as well.
 
With all of the above listed the more wisdom you have the better exp you will actually get from the scrolls!

The second way to go about leveling which is just a little bit harder than the first ( because it's more time consuming ) is to be "leeched" or to join a fight that a high level is doing solo and you gain experience from the fight without doing anything. There are many places that this happens at prevalently, such as but not limited to, Bonta/Brakmar sewers. People are always there looking to fight the rats. Also another quick way is to buy Souls at the Bonta/Brakmar arena and ask people to join your fights. Most people are always up to do some free souls. So while they think they are benefitting themselves by getting a free soul you are actually getting all the reward in exp.
 
NOTE: Some of the more benefiting souls cost a lot of kamas so you might want to buy some kamas at www.igful.com
 
The last way is just your down to the bone old fashion solo leveling or team leveling. This was is the most common way to level threw out all the servers. Some people choose to stay in incarnam until they think there character is ready to go to Astrub, but some leave right away the choice is yours.
